Get it if only if you have Descent Second Edition with the Shadowrune Campaign. The 2nd release of Descent comes with this book, but in softcover I believe. Other than that, it's a great addition and a much better quest book than the one that came with the 1st release of Descent Second Edition. Would highly recommend.Much better than the base campaign. Only ran into 1 senario that was greatly unfair for the heroes.Product was brand new - as described - with all parts - and arrived in a timely manner. Thank you.Excellent game. I use all expansions and plot decks. Very hard for the heroes to beat, especially when I use the Tristayne plot deck as the overlord against 3 or 4 heroes.Great shape, looks fun. I cannot wait until they make another volume.all goodLike all Fantasy Flight products, it is nice quality and gives a lot of bang for the buck content.Suffers the same flaws as the other campaign, some levels are massively biased toward the Overlord or the heroes, which means sometimes the outcome of a scenario is known from the first few moves, then you are just wasting time watching the other person destroy you. We haven't played this for a while so I can't give a more in-depth analysis. We're playing Mage Knight now, which is superior in every way :)With about 13 pages of flavour text at the start of this hardback glossy book it introduces and sets the scene of these new quests nicely and sets them out in a familiar fashion to all people who have played Descent 2nd ed before. You will need the base game and any other components it says but you wouldn't be buying this without having played the base game! This just enhances and adds to Descent and is an excellent buy!Excellent expansion book that only requires the base set. Far better than the included campaign.But, be aware that the most recent print of the base game has this campaign already included so check if you are about to splash out on both.A hardback book containing an entire campaign for the Descent 2nd Edition board game. The story is pretty good and will keep players entertained. The campaign is designed to be played out over 32 new encounters and requires the heroes to plan carefully, as failing a quest will have consequences later on in the campaign.If you own the old version of the base game (bought prior 2015), this campaign is highly recommended.
