Anyone who is involved in blood management should have a copy of this text. The subject matter is well structured and referenced. The practical tips and comments relating each chapter to ypur own hospital are a nice touch. Like myself some readers may think that chapters in their area of medicine may not cover anything they dont already know but they will probably be pleasantly surprised. There are also many chapters, such as that on artificial oxygen carriers , and hyperbaric oxygen which would be very hard to find in any other text. In summary this book covers everything you need to know in an up to date and easy to read format. Thoroughly recommend it
