His door was secured from the inside, with no other means of exit. How did the murderer escape? And what was the content of the manuscripts apparently stolen from the scholar's room?Abbot Iarnla insists on sending for Sister Fidelma and her companion Brother Eadulf to investigate the killing. I LOVE this series and this is the BEST YET! Peter Tremayne's historical knowledge is impressive and he weaves an intriguing tale, as always. Our modern justice system could learn much from the legal system in the Five Kingdoms during the 7th century. Only one thing I'd add --- a glossary with a phonetic pronunciation of the wonderful Irish names, places, and phrases that so beautifully color Mr. Tremayne's works. I am anxious for the sequel.
