Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - Xbox One Game | First-Person Shooter Action Adventure | Perfect for Gaming Nights & Collector's Editions

My husband is presently playing this game. Graphics from this video company are particularly realistic.3 stars only I'm afraid. To put it simply, I'm a gamer who's on the wrong side of fifty but like a bit of a challenge (no longer play the 'easy' option though, I tend to start at 'normal' or slightly tough if possible, but when even I finish a game in six hours at that level you have to question the game duration and content. Old Blood is limited in that content (8 chapters) and is littered with doors you go through, only to find you can't go back if, for example, you miss a collectible Etc. (You have to replay the entire game, or is that the point? In which case - life is too short to maintain that level of sameness, even on tougher settings). The other thing was, having played Wolfenstein since the old PC days, where in Swansea did the fiery Zombie concept come from, not only do you 'kill' a 'narzi' (the contemptuous spelling is intentional, cause they are and were scum), they come back to life as the undead! In my opinion, too short a game and limited a concept, cashing in on recent games and not worth the bucks. Avoid.Brilliant single person shoot'em up! As a prequel it works exceptionally well. Its uncomplicated, retains all the usual traits and characteristics of the other Wolfenstein games ,so there are no "button" changes and the inevitably annoying relearning processPlaying this was like pulling on an old comfortably fitting jacket, you just slip right into it and get on with the game. Second hand this cost me £7.00 overall and I got a good fourteen hours play from it (I like to explore and get as many of the collectables bonuses, and upgrades as possible, rather than go back and play the levels them again) so as value for money its a huge winner!!The graphics and game play are strong and slick, the story is a great short standalone, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!I’ve only just started playing this, but from what I’ve seen so far it’s a good game.This is a first person shooter set in an alternate timeline where it’s 1946 and the Nazis are winning Second World War. You’re mission is to infiltrate castle Wolfenstein, collect intelligence on a secret weapon, kill a load of Nazis including a high ranking one and then escape.So you get to beat up and shoot Nazis in an alternative universe what’s not to like about that.Newcomer to the Wolfenstein seriesand FPS genre of games but having played this I'm a fan. The gameplay and range of weapons and enemies are great, sometimes a bit challenging but every good game needs a challenge. Definitely worth picking up if you're interested in getting to the franchise and the FPS genre.Great shooter more of the same but in a good way shoot ,grenade,bomb yada yada yada is a bit of a co though as its not a physical disc version a dlc on disguise 30gb awaits u shame on u Bethesda conning the customers alas these software houses need listen to gamers who pay for quality on disc so they can play. nOw not wait for download beware this is not a full DVD physical copy a lid of your on limited data again shame on u Bethesda a cheap trick !!!!!;-( good game tho
