Jeri's books just get better every time. Her characters are developing, growing, becoming so much stronger. Even when they show their weaknesses. Even the minor characters are well-developed. The storyline of this book is good, though at times you might want to hit Crispin upside the head for the way he gives in to drink and women. A great series . . . I look forward to the next one.
